Irish-born Padraig Parkinson has been around the game for a number of years. He has been a staple on the tournament poker circuit for nearly a quarter of a century. Parkinson’s best tournament result was a 3rd place finish in the WSOP Main event back in 1999. He has amassed over $1.6 million in career tournament winnings and ranks 4th on the all-time list for Irish-born players.
Australian Shane Warne is best known for his tremendous cricket career. Warne is also known for his escapades off of the pitch, including canoodling with lots of young models. He has a slightly less impressive record on the felt with three career cashes for a little over $46,000.
England’s Sam Holden first rose to fame during the 2011 WSOP Main Event where he reached the final table and finished in 9th place. Holden has proven to not be a flash in the pan with a follow-up run in the 2012 WSOP Main event, finishing in 55th place, along with several other cashes in his career. He has over $1.1 million in career tournament cashes.
American Jake Balsiger is the newest member of Team 888. He first joined the team when he made the WSOP Main Event final table in 2012. Balsiger was the guy who just wouldn’t die with his short stack when the final table reached three handed, before finally succumbing in 3rd place. He has had several cashes since his final table and has career tournament earnings of nearly $4 million.
