2-7 Triple Draw

One of around 20 different card games you can play online, 2-7 Triple Draw poker - 'Deuce to Seven' - is a lowball game where the best low hand wins. Players can draw three times to attempt to improve their hand or stand pat with a strong hand. Flushes and straight count against you, so the nuts is e.g. 2♥ 3♦ 4♠ 5♣ 7♠.

2-7 Triple Draw is played with max 6 players due to the number of cards dealt out.

2-7 Triple Draw Rules - Predraw

Predraw each player is dealt five hole cards. The Small Blind and Big Blind make forced bets and action starts left of the Big Blind as in Texas Holdem. As such predraw is sometimes named 'preflop'.

In this hand UTG folds, BTN calls, SB completes and BB checks.

Three Drawing Rounds

Action starts left of the Button. Players draw 0 - 5 new cards (discarding cards to replace them from the deck). Three draws take place with a round of betting after each.

SB stands pat on the 2nd draw. BB folds, BTN continues to draw and calls down.


The last aggressor turns up his hand. Any player with a winning hand must turn up his hand to claim the pot.

How to Play 2-7 Triple Draw - Showdown

SB shows 8♦ 4♠ 2♦ 3♥ 6♣ for 8 high or an 'eighty six'. BTN has the exact same hand and the players split the pot of $6.68 after rake.
