Omaha Hi Lo
Omaha Hi Lo is played with a Fixed Limit or No Limit structure more commonly than Omaha Hi is, although Pot Limit games are also common (named 'PLO8').
Preflop each player is dealt four hole cards. The Small Blind and Big Blind make forced bets and action starts left of the Big Blind.
In this hand UTG limps, Hero raises 2♦ A♠ 9♣ Q♠ and a player new to the table has posted out of position. 4 players call.
On the flop three community cards are dealt. Action starts left of the Button.
On a 3♦ 5♥ 2♥ flop action checks around.
On the turn one more community card is dealt.
Hero bets the Q♣ turn making two pairs with a low draw. 3 players call.
On the river one final community card is dealt.
Action checks around on the J♣ river. Hero holds a relatively weak hand for Omaha Hi Lo.
After all betting rounds the last aggressor turns his hand face up if called. Any player with the winning hand must also reveal their cards in order to claim the pot. In this case there was no aggressor on the river so players have the option to flip up their cards or muck, beginning with the player left of the Big Blind.
All players turn their cards up, MP shows a higher two pairs with 2♣ 5♦ Q♥ K♥ and wins $0.36 after rake, the full pot as no player holds a qualifying low hand to claim half.
