Advanced PLO WorkbookPLO can become a very complicated discussion very easily.  While this is a poker text most of the book comes in the form of questions. The book has a lot of great info and the questions make the book more interactive than most. What is the main drawback of this book? That would be the $350 price tag.

#4 Secrets of Professional Pot Limit Omaha by Rolf Slotboom

secrets of PLOThis book is less about how to play PLO and more about how to get maximum action at the tables. Rolf Slotboon will take all over the world exploring some of the most lucrative games he has ever played. This book would not be targeted to the newer Omaha player, but some with experience will pick up useful info that most texts have missed.

#3 The Pot Limit Omaha Book by Tri Nguyen

PLO BookA book made for players who are looking to see what the fuss is all about in PLO.  Nguyen will explain what holdem players can expect to see out of PLO and clear up common misconceptions. This book will explain not only how you should be Pot Limit Omaha but why you should be playing.

#2 Advanced Pot Limit Omaha volume 1, 2, and 3 by Jeff Hwang

advanced PLOJeff Hwang has done for Pot Limit Omaha what Dan Harrington did for Holdem.  Hwang will show you in basic language how to approach PLO from all aspects including the online sensation: shorthanded PLO. Unfortunately, Hwang has also done what Harrington did with his books and turned them into three volumes.

#1 Pot Limit Omaha Poker by Jeff Hwang

Pot Limit Omaha PokerJeff Hwang's original Pot Limit Omaha book is still the one most new players will be advised to read first.  Hwang has a very easy writing style that will explain how to judge hand strength and tough decision making post-flop. Jeff Hwang has been writing about Omaha in various publications for years, and it shows in his first of many PLO books.
